Meet our Counselors
At Cypress Grace, our team is dedicated to walking alongside you with care, understanding, and compassion. Each of our counselors brings unique experiences and a passion for helping our clients find hope, healing, and growth.

Sonya Riggs, LPC
With a compassionate and integrative approach, Sonya meets clients where they are to help them navigate life’s challenges—from anxiety and depression to grief, and even trauma. She earned her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and previously worked in nuclear medicine for 17 years. Faith and family are central to her life, and she finds joy in spending time with her husband, their six grown children, eleven grandchildren, and a house full of dogs and cats.

Sonya is also trained in EMDR Therapy.
Donna Scallan, LPC
Donna is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys working with children as well as adults. She earned her master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech University and brings a down-to-earth, caring presence to every session. When she’s not counseling, Donna loves spending time with her family and pursuing her passion for travel.

Donna is also trained in EMDR, CBT, ACT, & sand tray.


Beth Vetrano, LPC
With a master’s degree in counseling from Liberty University and over 20 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Beth brings compassion, patience, and understanding to her work with clients. She specializes in supporting women and couples through grief, trauma, marital challenges, depression, and anxiety. Outside the office, she loves traveling and cherishes every moment spent with her family, especially her four grandchildren.

Beth is also trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
